Lavender sky spreads its wings
Feathers shimmering with drops of joy
Caressing the breadth of the horizon
Hope is held within the embrace
Glancing eternity along the iridescent quills
Dancing it is amongst drops of dew
That graces each singular feather
The heavens enfold me in times touch
Lifting their daughter close to the sun
Warming the chill of the earth from me
Infusing the shadow lands of my heart with light
Till radiant fingers banish sorrow
Brushing aside pain from my soul
Filling beauty's child with love
I don't know if you remember that picture I took in France last August, the one you said I should frame. Well reading your words here, I was reminded of that picture.
